All City America templates are created in Microsoft Publisher. Publisher is a retail desktop publishing program which can be purchased at most electronic/software retailers or online at various software outlets.

Downloading and using a publisher template

1. Click the templates button located to the left of the screen.

2. You can now use the category button or click on a category image to open different template categories that correspond to the type of publication you want to produce.

3. Once a category is open, you can click the view button to take a closer look at it.

4. To download the template you have chosen, simply click the download button. You will be prompted for a download location.

5. The templates are several megabytes in size and may take a few minutes to download.

Using a publisher template

1. Templates are setup with a front them and 12 inside pages.

2. The front template page will allow you to change the title and other wording as needed.

3. The inside pages are black, with a light background theme.

4. The blank pages are designed for you to place articles or ads as needed.

5. Remember, you do not have to use all 12 pages. But you need to always make sure that your booklet contains pages in multiples of 4, so it can be produced properly.

Finding articles for your publication

1. You can research and download articles for your publication by clicking on the articles button located to the left of your screen.

2. From there, click the category you need an article for.

3. Your screen will load in a brief snapshot of all articles on file. If you do not see one on the page you are looking for, simply click the next button or page number at the bottom to view other pages of articles in that category.

4. Once you find an article that you would like to see or download, click “more”

5. Your article will come into full page view, allowing you to download it by clicking the “Download article text button” or you can return to the previous page by clicking “return” at the bottom of the article.

1. You can download artwork for your publication by clicking on the articles button located to the left of your screen.

2. You can now use the category button or click on a category image to open different artwork categories that correspond to the type of publication you want to produce.

If you choose to use our in-house services, you can submit your artwork to us several ways.

What type of files do you accept?

We are capable of handling almost all file types. Whether it is a logo you have saved in Microsoft word or a digital file that your local designer has sent you, we can use it. Below is a list of the types of files we can accept.

Why is it better for me to email my files rather than faxing or mailing it?

Digital artwork allows our designers to return a proof to you at a much faster rate. It is transmitted faster and is much clearer for us to work with. We understand that you may not have your artwork available in a digital format.
